ACNE TREATMENTS

The root cause of acne and rosacea and the remedy:

Natural Acne Treatment & Rosacea Skin Care

Natural ways vs Medical Acne Treatments

Acne antibiotics - Just how effective are they?

Acne antibiotics work in two main ways. One is to reduce the number of bacteria on the skin and the other is to reduce inflammation.

Both topical and oral acne antibiotics are frequently prescribed by doctors for moderate to severe cases of acne.

Following is a list of the most common acne antibiotics used:

Topical acne antibiotics

  • Clindamycin - Clinac solution, Dalacin T gel, lotion, solution & Topicil solution
  • Erythromycin- Stiemycin solution, Eryacne gel, Oral acne antibiotics
  • Tetracycline - tetracycline, minocycline & doxycycline
  • Erythromycin - Emu-V, Eryc, Eromycin, E-mycin, EES & ERA
  • Trimethroprim - Triprim & TMP
  • Cotrimoxasole - Apo-Sulfatrim, Trisul, Trimel, Bactrim & Septrin

  • Are acne antibiotics effective?

The effectiveness of topical acne antibiotics is limited because of their mechanisms. Any attempt to eliminate bacteria is futile in the long run. Bacteria are present everywhere and do not directly cause acne. When sebaceous glands are overproducing sebum, pores can easily become clogged and bacteria that is always living in our skin starts to reproduce uncontrolled when the sebum does not flow to the surface of the skin.

The environment inside a clogged pore is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.

Dead skin cells also make matters worse. That explains why the effectiveness of topical acne antibiotics is limited. They do not address the actual causes of acne. It's the flow of the skin oil and clogging of pores which needs to be dealt with. Bacteria are present everywhere and they do not present a problem to skin with normal sebum outflow to the surface of the skin.

The same goes for oral acne antibiotics except the side effects can be much more serious. Everyone's digestive system has billions of friendly bacteria living inside which perform vital functions. Long term use of oral acne antibiotics can cause serious health problems because they are not selective about which bacteria they destroy i.e. they kill off the friendly ones as well as the invaders. This leaves the human gastrointestinal system susceptible to a whole range of illnesses and diseases.

Individuals treated with antibiotics for acne for more than six weeks were more than twice as likely to develop an upper respiratory tract infection within one year as individuals with acne who were not treated with antibiotics, according to an article in the September issue of Archives of Dermatology, one of the JAMA/Archives journals.

Over the counter acne treatments - Convenience and Pitfalls

Over the counter acne treatments are expected to have secondary effects. Particular creams and lotions contain zinc, sulphur or benzoil peroxide, which may reduce pimples, but they can additionally burn and leave the dermis dry, blotchy and inflammed.

Other treatments like oral medications are also common in treating acne problems. However they do have significant side effects and aren't always guaranteed to give you the best healing results and often hold many other risks. Antibiotics, for example, do kill bacteria nad halt inflammation but they additionally interfere with the balance of healthy intestinal flora, producing a cyclic affection.

So it's obvious, the best choice to really help to get rid of acne and other skin related problems is to find the best natural solution that can complement your skin cleaning regime. Stores that house natural products will have an assortment of quality brands of cleansers, toners and topical creams that are gentle and effective against adult acne, but without these negative effects.

    Biological Acne Treatments

And we offer a biological treatment gel BIOSKINCLEAR that is perfect for use in conjunction with a healthy regime. This is a natural based cream that does not contain all the traditional pharmaceutical antibiotics that might create bacterial resistance. It incorporates particular peptides with anti-microbial properties that are effective killers of bacteria and other microbes and boosts the production of the same by your own body on the surface of the skin and inside the hair follicles. These kinds of small quantities of protein produce the body's first line of defence against invading bacteria and remain fast-moving inflammation in check.

BIOSKINCLEAR stops the progression of several types of bacteria, like Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus and Propionibacterium Acnes.

Natural Breakthrough Product works because it addresses the root cause of acne and not just the symptoms:

      • The Immoderate Inflammatory Reaction —triggered by even the slightest lesion in the sebum canals—. This is addressed by supporting the protective strategies of the innate immune system of the skin, directly, within the hair follicles and at the site of skin lesions.

      • Provides cellular messengers that communicate to your body that it is being taken care of and can moderate an otherwise extremeinflammatory reaction that may end up destroying healthy skin cells, and not just the bacteria and sebum that has turned into a foreign matter.

      • Bacterial Infection by signaling your system to increase the release of the skin's own natural antimicrobial peptides, which defend your system and make the skin an unwelcome place for bacteria, microbes and parasites and can not possibly create any bacterial resistance whatsoever.

      • Clogged Pores with gentle enzymes that dissolve or "digest" the plugs, and without peeling and no dryness. On the contrary, while moisturizing the skin deeply and triggering healthy skin regeneration, the removal of scars and the release of amino-acids that help rebuild damaged tissues quickly. It also relieves the side effects of Accutane®.

BIOSKINCLEAR focuses on the root causes of acne and rosacea inflammation and not just the symptoms.

With the use of BIOSKINCLEAR acne infections are kept at bay. Also damaged cells and toxins are dissolved, hair follicles are cleaned of debris, new collagen and elastin and water holding cells are formed to naturally restore health and vanish redness and scar tissues, the consequences of skin lesions and skin damage.

All lead to the final result: SKIN CLEAR OF ACNE

Acne treatments, especially those considered medical treatments concentrate on suppressing manifestations and they can be very potent. The individual may notice benefits for a period of time, but in the long run, such drugs make the affection worse and can leave behind horrible side effects.

    Acne Treatments and Acne Inflammation

Acne inflammations eliminate collagen and elastin fibers. They sever the microvascular system, and damage and kill healthy skin cells. When healing is delayed and the lesions left behind by acne are not well treated, a scar is born. Any healthy functional tissue ( skin) is replaced by connective tissue (scars).

The loss of minor feeder vessels has a major influence in lowering the skin and immune system's capability to deal with acne and to cause precipitated skin aging because the skin receives less protective antioxidants, nutrients, oxygen, proteins, essential fatty acids, amino acids and so on. This hinders the cells' ability to function and, subsequently, the skin's ability to perform various processes, such as protection, immunity, maintenance and reparation.

Based on the shape of the tissue, acne scars are divided into two categories.

The first consists of increased skin tissue at the site of acne formation, and the second is characterized by a decrease of tissue formation. When scar tissue is enlarged it is called a Keloid and is more prominent in African-Americans. The most common type of acne scars are caused by a loss of skin tissue that results from lesions caused to underlying skin.

These wounds are similar to scars left behind by chicken pox. They are usually called depressed or pitted acne scars. These scars include ice-pick scars with sharp jagged edges, soft tissue scars and depressed fibrotic scars. Ice-pick scars normally appear near the cheek area. They are small with steep, jagged edges which make healing or treatment difficult. If these small scars become large and steep with sharp edges, then they are then called depressed fibrotic scars. A different type of scar is known as a soft scar. It is both shallow and deep and has small rounded edges that fuse together with healthy skin. A soft scar is either circular or linear in shape.

Pigmented scars are red or brown spots left behind after an acne blemish has faded. This type of scar is the most common and while it is not permanent, it can take weeks or even months to clear-up. Often times the scar has not completely disappeared before a new set of blemishes appear. Pigmented scars usually affect the sufferer emotionally causing them to enter a mild state of depression set-off by a continuous cycle of discolored skin. Some people may have found a treatment that keeps their blemishes under control only to discover that the red or brown marks remain.

    Acne scarring treatments

Both pitted acne scars and pigmented acne scars may be treated with our BIOSKINCARE or BIOSKINCLEAR products. You should apply these products twice a day and over a prolonged period of time, if; however, your acne scars are too deep you should apply the cream for at least 8 to 12 weeks before noticing any change.

Recovery of lost tissue may take longer if the damage is too extensive. In these cases other remedies may be needed, some options are: fat injections, microdermabrasion, deep chemical peelings, cosmetic fillers or laser surgery.

Acne scars do no manifest themselves the same in everyone. In some people scars heal quickly while others carry scars for a lifetime. Psychologically, people also show varied reactions to acne scarring. Some people consider scarring as something normal, while others worry about even the smallest scar and may go to great lengths to get them erased.

Another cause of acne scarring is when unnecessary pressure is applied directly to an acne pimple. The most common way of applying pressure is by popping or squeezing a pimple. This spreads the infection to nearby skin and damages vulnerable tissue, which later result in pit-like scars.

Treatment of severe acne scars depends on the scars shape, depth, and location. Individual scars of any depth may be cut out and the skin sewn back together. Wide indented scars can be treated cosmetically by a procedure called subcision, in which minor cuts are made under the skin to free the scar tissue.

Doctors can deal with large, inflamed nodules or abscesses by injecting corticosteroids directly into them. Some surgeons will even cut open a nodule or abscesses to dissipate it.
